How to fix iCloud Mail not working?

For a fortnight now I have not recieved any emails through Icloud mail, usually I would recieve 2-3 daily. I have ordered online and have not had order confirmation emails etc. I have freed up storage on my phone, turned it on and back off. Totally stumped and am currently applying for jobs so need to be able to receive emails.

unable to recieve emails even after purchasing more storage I recently exceeded the amount of storage on my iCloud and my emails stopped working due to this, I just bought some more on subscription and I have also updated my phone to the newest software, I’ve tried closing the app, turning my phone off, done it all and I’m still not receiving any emails and I haven’t for weeks now anyone know what could solve this please. TIA
