Iphone 15 pro bluetooth issues with opel astra j using CD400

I started to use iphone recently after years of android experience, what a huge mistake lets say. I have a 15 pro with the latest available softwares installed, driving an opel astra j from 2012 equipped with CD400 entertainment system. I can connect to device via bluetooth but that is all, when i receive a call from outside, phone number appears on the CD400 screen, i press the button on the wheel dedicated to pick up the calls, CD400 is going on to ring while in fact the phone is picked up and i can hear the person from the phone speaker it self. after like 10 / 15 seconds of struggle, appears on the CD400 screen that i do not have any device connected, in the meantime iphone still shows that i am connected to the device. if i am the one who is making the call, after a couple of seconds successful conversation, bluetooth drops and call diverts to phone speaker. my wife with 14 pro has no such issue while using the latest software available as well. if anyone has any idea how to get rid off this issue...

So. My problem, my solution i just find out that main problem is a conflict between my huawei gt 3 watch and bluetooth of the car. I just shut down the watch and connection is quite stable, although i am still looking for a logic way to handle the issue without having to shut down the watch every single time.

Try to Reset the following

  1. Reset Network Settings: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings: Only network settings are removed.
    1. When you reset network settings, previously used networks and VPN settings that weren’t installed by a configuration profile or mobile device management (MDM) are removed. Wi-Fi is turned off and then back on, disconnecting you from any network you’re on. The Wi-Fi and Ask to Join Networks settings remain turned on.
    2. To remove VPN settings installed by a configuration profile, go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management, select the configuration profile, then tap Remove Profile. This also removes other settings and accounts provided by the profile. See Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone in this guide.
    3. To remove network settings installed by MDM, go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management, select the management, then tap Remove Management. This also removes other settings and certificates provided by MDM. See “Mobile device management (MDM)” in the iOS Deployment Reference.
    4. Reset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.
  2. Reset All Settings: If the issue persists, you can try resetting all settings on your iPhone. This will not erase your data but will reset all personalized settings to their default values. Go to Settings > General > Transfer & Reset > Reset > Reset All Settings and confirm the action. Note that you will need to reconfigure your settings afterward. All settings—including network settings, the keyboard dictionary, the Home screen layout, location settings, privacy settings, and Apple Pay cards—are removed or reset to their defaults. No data or media are deleted.
    1. Reset All Settings: Return iPhone settings to their defaults - Apple Support:- Return iPhone settings to their defaults
    2. You can return settings to their defaults without erasing your content.
    3. If you want to save your settings, back up your iPhone before returning them to their defaults. For example, if you’re trying to solve a problem but returning settings to their defaults doesn’t help, you might want to restore your previous settings from a backup.

Several factors could be contributing to the Bluetooth issues you're experiencing with your iPhone 15 Pro and Opel Astra J's CD400 system. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check if there's a firmware update available for the CD400 entertainment system in your Opel Astra J. Sometimes, manufacturers release updates to improve compatibility.
  2. If possible, try resetting the CD400 system in your car. Consult the car's manual for instructions on how to do this.
  3. Ensure there are no other electronic devices causing interference with the Bluetooth signal. Move away from potential sources of interference and see if the issue persists.
    1. Move your phone away from other Bluetooth devices that might be interfering with the connection.
    2. Try turning off Wi-Fi on your phone as it can sometimes interfere with Bluetooth.
  4. If there are updates available for the car's entertainment system, consider updating it. Manufacturers may release updates to improve compatibility with newer devices.

Forget and re-pair Bluetooth connection:

  • On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  • Tap on the CD400 icon and select "Forget This Device".
  • Now, try re-pairing your iPhone with the CD400 system following the car's instructions.

Mobile brand/model selection is an individual choice based on many parameters. Such as Money, Feature, Status, Aesthetic, Utility, User-Friendliness, Availability, Warranty Coverage, Service Support, Resale value, Technology and many other factors. Choose yours judiciously!

You can choose yours, based on your need. Go through the tech specs of all the iPhone models in one place, here --> iPhone Tech Specs - Apple Support And iPhone - Shopping Help - Apple
