My iPhone (14 Pro, iOS 18.0.1) is not paired to a nearby Bluetooth speaker. But when a call is coming in to my iPhone the speaker rings too. It might be relevant that the speaker is paired to an iPhone (6s, iOS 15.8.3) which does not even have a SIM chip (it is Bluetoothing an FM station to the speaker). This problem has existed through the past several updates to the 14 Pro.
Anyone else seeing this? Any thoughts?

On the iPhone 14 Pro go to Settings/Apps/Phone/ Calls on Other Devices and turn off the switch for the 6S.
On each of your devices, go to Settings/Bluetooth and see if the speaker is paired to that device. A speaker can be paired to more than one device.
Thanks Lawrence for pointing me to "Calls on Other Devices". The 6S was not listed so I just turned off "Calls on Other Devices" I know I have never taken advantage of it and don't see why I would ever want to use it.

Is the speaker also paired with any other devices that are turned on for Calls on other devices?
You might try toggling that off and back on again. That might clear a holdover from earlier settings and get that 6s to stop ringing.
Thanks to the several responders. I've now tried every way I can find to reset the speaker, including the online Sony SRS-XB3 manual. But the 6s is still playing through it, so it's pairing info was clearly not reset. I won't have any chance to do any more experiments until tomorrow. Thanks again for all of the helpful advice. Bob
