Multiple iPhones appear connected on Bluetooth

every time I connect to my JBL speaker, multiple iPhones appear connected on my iPhone 15 plus Bluetooth. This then creates “crackling” on speaker. Turning Bluetooth off and on temporarily corrects, but after few minutes issue returns.

Unpaired Bluetooth speaker rings when iPhone rings. My iPhone (14 Pro, iOS 18.0.1) is not paired to a nearby Bluetooth speaker. But when a call is coming in to my iPhone the speaker rings too. It might be relevant that the speaker is paired to an iPhone (6s, iOS 15.8.3) which does not even have a SIM chip (it is Bluetoothing an FM station to the speaker). This problem has existed through the past several updates to the 14 Pro. Anyone else seeing this? Any thoughts? Thanks, Bob

Reddit users say this is related to Spotify jam. Their suggestion was to Go to iPhone settings, privacy and security, Bluetooth and turn off Spotify. Apparently will still allow you to play Spotify on Bluetooth speaker.
