Subject: Complaint - iMac 27-inch 2019 Model Issue

Dear Apple Community Support,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the ongoing issue I am facing with my iMac 27-inch 2019 model. I am a long-time Apple customer and have always trusted the quality and reliability of Apple products. However, this experience has left me disappointed and concerned.

Recently, I have noticed a distinctly visible orange-colored line on the top portion of my iMac's screen. This line not only distracts me but also hampers the overall viewing experience. I have attached a photograph for your reference [enclosed photograph or include a link to an online image].

I purchased my iMac in [month, year] from an authorized Apple retailer, and it has been well-maintained ever since. I have not mishandled or subjected it to any undue stress. This issue seemed to have occurred spontaneously, and I am concerned that this may be a manufacturing defect in the screen or graphics system.

I have tried the basic troubleshooting steps provided on Apple's support website, including resetting the device, adjusting display settings, and running diagnostics. Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue.

As an Apple customer, I expect a certain level of quality and longevity from my devices. Therefore, I kindly request immediate attention and resolution to this matter. I believe this issue should be covered under the product's warranty or Apple's commitment to customer satisfaction.

I would appreciate it if you could provide guidance on how to proceed to resolve this issue, whether it involves scheduling an appointment for repair at an Apple Service Center or exploring other possible solutions. I rely heavily on my iMac for personal and professional purposes, and its current condition is hindering my productivity.

I hope for a timely resolution to this matter and look forward to your prompt assistance. I am confident that Apple values their customers and their satisfaction and will take the necessary steps to rectify this issue.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Well this forum is not an Apple Support Forum. You need to call Apple Support or take it to an Apple Store. You can try some of the suggestion here. Look up the steps in Apple search to try each one. The last one being the last resort to try.

Safe Mode

Reinstall Mac OS

Attach a second monitor to see if that shows up on the second monitor

Create a Test Admin User and see if it shows up in Test User Mode

Make a Time Machine backup first and reinstall the Mac after wiping the drive, then restore your backup

If it is the orange color of the menu bar, then you can get rid of the orange color by checking the "Reduce Transparency" option in the "Displays" section of the "Accessibility" section of System Preferences/Settings.

I find it very odd Apple chose to make transparency the default option since I find it makes reading anything on the display very difficult and I don't have any major visual issues with my eyes.
