iPhone 7+ issues with iOS 15.7 and 15.8

My iphone has been having issues with calls and taking photos for the last month (February 2024) beginning with an iOS 15.7.? and continuing with the latest iOS 15.8. I'm certain this is a software issue and not hardware as my phone works fine for a little while after a reboot but eventually bugs out.
