How to merge Final Cut Pro X libraries?

Final Cut Pro 10.6.7 Extreme lag issues Hey, I recently updated to 10.6.7 from 10.6.5 (because I heard that 10.6.6 was little bit laggy) so I tried updating it straight to 10.6.7, I thought that Apple has fixed issues which was in 10.6.6 version. So after updating my library and projects to the newest version it completely destroyed them. It's impossible to edit smoothly like it was on 10.6.5 and it keeps crashing, freezing and randomly shut downs. Is there any way to convert my "Library" to the older version of FCP? Also some users reported that they get message "Editing 4k footage and higher is not recommended on this device even if they have newest and highest M2 MAX chip on it"

How to zip Final Cut Pro X Libraries Less of a question, more of an answer. I found I was not able to zip my FCPX library to back them up online. I got the following error: The operation couldn’t be completed. Undefined error: 0 The key was that my library was on an external drive. When I moved the library to my internal drive on the desktop, it compressed/zipped just fine. I hope that helps someone else if they're having the same problem! Hugs, Ben

Best way to offload a FCP Library Hello - I'm a grade above novice when it comes to editing and a complete noob when it comes to editing organization. I'm finished with a project and want to offload it to an external drive. Before I consolidate the library media - I know there's an option to delete generated library files. I'm still uncertain what each of these functions do. Should I delete all Rendered files, Optimized Media and Proxy Media before Consolidating and exporting? What does that mean exactly? Will the timelines in the project be fine? will the original media still be in the package contents? Thanks so much! -G.

Open both libraries. Copy the events of one library into the other.

Would be nice to have a merge feature built-in.

Also a feature to trim out all unused footage, like legacy FCP had.
