iMac email issue Unable to send or receive emails from gmail
One suggestion from Support was to remove my email account and then to add it back. Will I lose all of the messages currently on my iMac?
It may have something to do with my screwing up passwords or Server settings? If so how do I get to those settings to fix?

Not if you have IMAP email accounts.
Also if there's a problem and you have a backup of your drive you can always replace the V10 (Ventura) folder with one from Time Machine made just before you reset the account.

Try removing the account from your Mail app and then adding it back again. That will often jumpstart the mail account.
Thank YOU for the advice. Will I lose all of the current emails by doing that? I'm really not sure how to accomplish this. Would I just go to settings and remove it from there?
