AirPods 2nd Generation Worse Than 1st Generation

I had just gotten the AirPods pro, and it is way harder to control than my AirPods 1st gen. Before, I could easily double tap to skip songs and answer calls, now with the pros even the slightest tap will make music pause. The 1st gen AirPods have a longer stem, making it easier to take out. With the pros, when attempted to grab the AirPod, the song instantly pauses, even with the auto detection off. Not to mention the feeling of your ears being suffocated by the earbud.
