how to confirm counterfeit beats studio 3

i bought used beats studio 3 wireless headphones from the company mercari. they don’t connect to my iphone as beats or show serial number or info like my beats solo 3 do. how can i prove they are not authentic beats?

How to identify genuine AirPods Max headphones? Sealed boxes, and number shows to be under warranty on the Apple website. Turn them on, they show up on iphone, populate into Apple's 'devices you own'... So in 2025, how can you tell genuine from fake, besides sorry function after it's too late? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Basically, you can't. I would return them for a full refund.
