The weather app is a novelty application

ive gone though this for longer than 7 years now and I’m absolutely sick of it to the point where I resent Apple now. The weather app is a complete joke, inaccurate it’s an extreme understatement. I’ve just held off going out for 4 hours since Apple claimed it was about to rain, pushing it back every hour I check. Finally it says in the last 30 mins it says it’s not actually going to rain, so I get ready and leave the house as the app claims it’s clear sky’s now and 0mm of precipitation in the next 24 hours. 5 mins outside It starts bucketing down in rain and I’m drenched. So I go to check the app “clear sky’s” it says. I’ve been put in this situation well over 100 times over the past 7 years and I’m sick of it. There’s no point in showing people fake weather forecasts for no reason, the app it legitimately pointless, just a place holder for the Home Screen. And I know Apple doesn’t even care about fixing the issue because we’re coming close to a decade of it being a problem. This app should be removed from coming as a default app with the iPhone and really should be moved to the entertainment category in the App Store as this Cleary is a novelty as it has no actual way of helping anyone predict the weather. Looking at the sky is a more accurate way of predicting the weather than this app.
