ipod nano 6th gen headphones not working

I recently received an iPod nano 6th gen from my grandfather. Hasn’t been on for years but we got it charged and working again. I haven’t loaded music onto it yet but i was trying out the radio. I plugged in the headphones, all the way, the radio was receiving signal and it appeared to be playing, everything was working fine. I turned up the volume too. But no sound comes out of it. These headphones work just fine with other devices and there is no debris in the audio jack. Please help!!

iPhone 12 Pro Max - Headphones not working I have headphones that used to work on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, but it suddenly stopped working. I can plug in the charger and it works fine, so the issue does not appear to be the port. This started happening months ago and it's still not working. I have rebooted several time since then and updated the software. I am currently at 16.3. I've checked for any settings that may be causing this, but I cannot figure out why this is happening. Does anyone have any ideas?

headphones no longer work Suddenly all wired headphones have stopped working. Three different pairs on three different iPhones, including a brand new 14 plus. a pop up appears saying ‘is this lightning adapter connecting a pair of headphones’. It doesn’t matter whether you click Headphones or Other Device, no sound comes out. Anyone else experienced or know how to fix? Thanks
