I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out regarding an issue I've encountered while attempting to enjoy Dolby Atmos content through my entertainment setup. Here are the details:
1. Devices:
- Hisense 65 Inch VIDAA TV
- Philips TAB 8967 Sound System
- Apple TV 4K (latest version)
2. Problem Description:
Despite having Dolby Atmos capability on my Apple TV 4K, I'm unable to successfully play Dolby Atmos content from popular streaming platforms such as Netflix (on a premium plan), Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video.
3. Observation:
- Dolby Atmos shows as available on my Apple TV 4K.
- However, when I attempt to stream content from the aforementioned platforms, Dolby Atmos does not activate.
4. Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
- Checked for firmware updates on my Hisense TV and Philips sound system to ensure compatibility.
- Verified that all devices are properly connected and configured according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Confirmed that the content being streamed is indeed available in Dolby Atmos format.
