MacBook Air won't connect to projector

I worked for several hours recently trying to get my MB Air to connect to an Epson projector. Trouble shooting involved two calls to Apple Support and a call to Epson, downloading a driver from Epson, swapping out a variety of cords all to no avail. I have fead numerous posts about this issue but all of them seem kind of old given the advances in today's technology. My iOS is the latest version of Sonoma. Looking for a solution here.

MacBook Air compatible with a Epson V600 Scanner I have a MacBook air M2 chip OS Sonoma 14.0. I purchased a Epson V600 scanner and tried everything I could think of to get it to work.I got a link on the Silver Fast to install Silver Fast 9 beta and the Epson Drivers but the scanner would not show up as a device to add in the Printers and Scanner setup. I could see the device listed in the USB attached devices when I used a USB C to USB A adapter but it would not show up when when I used a Satechi Pro Hub Max nothing show up as a USB device. I also have a Mac mini with OS Catalina late (2012) the software would not install but I could get the scanner to do a preview scan but not a full scan. I gave up on this and I have the scanner back in the box and a return RA back to Amazon. Would be interested if someone comes up with a answer to get this to work. Thanks and good luck....
