Why arent the numbers working on my magic keyboard extended?

This is the type of keyboard that has an additional set of numbers on the right side. It used to work on my new computer - Mac Studio

Apple Magic Keyboard acting weird I recently bought a new iMac and when I use my magic keyboard it types on its own and keeps entering the last key I pressed multiple times plus it is delayed in its response. Magic Keyboard numbers 1 and 2 not working without holding another key down My keyboard just recently started having an issue with the number 1 and 2 buttons. They will not type on their own, but I have to hold down any other key (i.e the space bar) for them to appear when I am typing. I did delete the keyboard and re add it, and also checked some other settings in my keyboard preferences. Nothing seems to be fixing the issue. My caps lock key light also stopped working, but I am not sure if this has anything to do with the number issue.

Most likely you have Mouse Keys on by mistake. See
