Reminders synced to my Yahoo! account have disappeared
This is the weirdest thing and I'm so sad about it. I have already searched this forum, Reddit and spoke with an Apple Rep for an hour but no one seems to know what to do and maybe this is the first time it's happened.
I use the Reminders app on my phone to keep a steady "To-Do" list. I have memory issues so I'm putting about 10 things on there per day to make sure I remember. I woke up this morning, February 23rd, 2024, and my Reminders list is from January 28th, 2024! Items that I've already marked as completed. I go to look at the completed tab, and there are only things in there from January 28th and before. Mind you, there have probably been over a hundred items added/marked as complete between then and now. My phone did not install and update overnight, I did not change any iCloud settings and did not let my phone die or reset over night. Just completely reverted back a month ago like I hopped in a time machine.
I tried to do a few things like toggle on an off with syncing, restarting my phone, verifying different accounts, but to no avail. I cannot get my Reminders back from the last month and I'm so sad about it. Because I sync and use it through my Yahoo! email, Apple said they can't do anything and they are basically just gone. They also did not tell me how to prevent this in the future.
So, how can I get them back? I feel like I've done absolutely everything, and when I reached out to Yahoo!, they said it was an Apple app so it's Apple's problem. For reference, I'm using an iPhone 15 Pro on iOs 17.3.1. Thanks!
