airpods pro - tracking notification

I am using my boyfriend's airpods and I get notifications that the user knows where I am. I did my delivery shift and my boyfriend received information about every single stop I had during my shift. Is this necessary? I mean..just make an option - I am using my boyfriend/girlfriend's AirPods with some sort of approval from boyfriend/girlfriend (with a code/ trust thing, etc) so that we don't receive notifications all the time. So I get the safety thing and its necessary. But just understand that we are families, couples that sometimes share apple products, and its absolutely normal. So please apple...find a way!
