I removed (intentionally) the downloads folder from dock, put it back but icon looks funny

If I've re-ordered it, the icon is changes, it appears, to the first item in the folder. Is there a way I can get it back to the good ol' Downloads folder?

If you Control click on the Dock icon you can change the display from Stacks to Folder option....
