Getting invoices from apple in pdf format

For many years I have been struggling with the way Apple sends invoices. Unlike other suppliers I can’t get a normal PDF file. I have to follow a compicated procedure storing a print file in pdf format myself using the email message that contains the invoice before I can upload the invoice as zn pdf file in Exact administration software. I asked Apple support on several occasions but I was told that Apple CANNOT PROVIDE INVOICES IN PDF FORMAT!

Is there a way to find a solution for my administration that works?

Windows, Windows 10

Trying to print my Apple Invoice has bothered me for some time. If I choose to print and then save as a pdf all I see is the header of the invoice and nothing else.

I have since found the fix for this. Apple sends the invoice out formatted as 'US Letter' and so if your printer is set to A4 (hello world) then you will not see all of the email content.

Fix is to change your print option to US Letter / save as PDF and then convert the saved pdf back to A4 if that format is better for you.

This was driving me mad, but now I know why!

Well, we are not Apple and Apple will not see your concern in these user-to-user forums. For any proper fix, you need to work directly with Apple, not us.

However, if you are trying to save the emails themselves as pdf, I might be able to help. While worshiping at the Altar of Minimalist Design, someone decided to include a "View Invoice" link but make very tiny to avoid upsetting the balance of Nature. Check the upper right corner of the last email you get when purchasing:

I am on the road right now and cannot check my saved purchase emails, but I believe the page that link produces is in pdf format, or is at least formatted in such a way that making a pdf using the Print dialog box will be easier.

You are right of course. Every month I receive my invoice and scroll to the bottom of the email to see an 'attached invoice' that I can save, something that the rest of the world seems to be able to do, but alas it isn't there.

We can't be the only two people who want to save our invoices for accounting purposes.

I'm just glad that I solved the reason that I couldn't even save the sent invoice and the US Letter / A4 thing!!
