automatically add artwork

I had to wipe my computer and when I reinstalled itunes, my Cover art came back, but only for a very few album titles.

I looked for the "automatically add album artwork" but cannot find it in settings. When I right click any album with missing artwork and choose

"Get Album Artwork" I get a message saying:

"Getting album artwork requires you to sign in to the Itunes Store using an Apple ID. Please go to the store and sign in".

I do this and nothing changes. I can find no setting to enable artwork download on either the store or the app. After signing in and right clicking the album title in the Itunes program on my desktop, I still get the "sign in" error message. Any solutions? Thanks... Gary
