How do I view the battery health percentage on my MacBook air?

I have a Macbook air 2020. The fan has been running very loudly and it has been getting very hot. I use Google Chrome and some Engineering Softwares that are pretty heavy on the Mac, and the employee at the Genius Bar Suggested that I get my battery replaced.

That said, in System info., it says my battery heath is good. Here is the info:

Fully Charged: Yes

Charging: No

Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 3738

State of Charge (%): 100

Health Information:

Cycle Count: 366

Condition: Normal

I noticed that many people use their battery health percentage, but I don't see that on my Mac. I also used the "coconut battery" software and it told me that my Full Charge Capacity is 3738mAh, but it also says that the manufacturing date for the battery is 2022, when I bought my mac in 2020. So it's hard for me to trust it.

Please let me know if I should look into replacing my battery or not. Thanks!

The cycle count is the best indication.

also helps you determne what is the maximum count for your Mac.

A reset of the SMC can help if you have error messages on a battery that is not near the maximum cycle count.

There may come a point where it won't charge, you have to replace the battery.

sometimes covers them for some Macs, sometimes buying an extended service plan will cover it.

Replacing the battery yourself stands a good chance of hurting any warranty you have left, and not knowing how to manage batteries is a fire hazard. So it is best to let someone who is an AASP do it.
