This is about the "FindMy" option for my airtag

I want to know how do I set the range on my Airtag item when it is out of range... How do I change the setting to be less than 100ft instead of one mile?

iPhone XS Max, iOS 17

Sorry, but you cannot "set the range" of any AirTag. The tag uses a Bluetooth beacon to transmit its ID. It also relies on the Apple Find My Network (which is literally comprised of millions of iPhones) to relay its tag, and the phone's GPS location, to the Apple servers over the Internet. That's were you would see the tag's location with the Find My app on your phone.

With that said, Bluetooth has a typical range of around 30-40' unobstructed.
