Is a macbook pro 2017 15 inch still good in 2024 and good for daily use ? And will it last me for 3-4 years from now ?

? the macOS is already limited to the macOS 13 Ventura and no further.
If it functions for your needs then why not. They can't be worth much on the used market.

I was never a fan of the MBP 2016-2018 butterfly keyboards and other associated issues. YMMV.
