Music App triggering Universal Control Disconnects

There are many laments about Universal control disconnecting seemingly randomly. Ditto. On Studio and M1 Max laptop both current Sonoma and all patches applied, Universal control unpredictably disconnects and the advanced settings in the Display control panel on the Studio deselects the "allow pointer and keyboard...." toggle selector itself without input from the user.

So this preference is not "sticky" as it should be. Most often, but not always, attempting to interact with the Music app on the laptop positioned 8 " away from the Studio. To be clear, any interaction with the Music app, triggers the untoggling of the Studios advanced displays setting. The problem persists without regard for any rebooting, user shifting or incantation voodoos recommended here (UC persistence s a common problem on these fora, apparently).

Curious whether others see the behavior with other specific apps triggering the "un-setting" of the displays advanced settings to enable UC? It's completely reproducible with music on my setup. Not fatal of course but a severe annoyance.
