I've searched this question but can make no sense out of the answers I've found!

Can anybody explain to me how to add one of these to Apple calendar on my iMac and iPhone?

I did see the directions and had tried them, but they didn't work for either of those sites. However, I also emailed Canton Becker, the creator of the Lunar/Astro calendar. He acknowledged the issue with the directions for the iMac and gave me the URL to use for a New Calendar Subscription on both the iMac and iPhone:

All I did was read the websites and follow the directions.
That's essentially the directions given in the first link as well. If you tap on the option to subscribe to the calendar feed, you get the appropriate link.
