How to turn on Activation Lock on a iPhone linked with Apple ID?

How do I turn on activation lock on another one of my devices set up to my Apple ID. I left my phone at a friends house and they keep going through my phone. How do I turn on activation lock for that device only?

Your device presumably has a passcode on it? That should be sufficient. Or, you can mark it as lost of you have set up FindMy to lock it. Find your lost iPhone or iPad with Find My - Apple Support
