Issues with iOS 17.3.1

Hi, so yesterday I updated my iPad Air (4th Gen) to iOS 17.3.1.

After updating, I noticed that when opening Chrome, or X(Twitter), it would freeze almost immediately and then forcibly restart itself. I also had this issue with Safari and the App Store but it was less frequent and only when I tried to search something. The issue with Safari and the App Store has stopped, but Chrome and X(Twitter) continue to not work. I have tried many things to fix this, like restarts, force restarts, deleting the app and re-downloading it; yet nothing has worked. I’m thinking maybe it is something to do with the update?

If anyone can help, I’d really appreciate it.

If problems persist after performing a forced restart, it may be necessary to reset your iPad settings. While this reset will not cause any loss of data, as a precaution, it is always wise to ensure that you have a current iCloud or iTunes backup before performing the reset:

When you are happy to proceed, you can perform the reset from iPad settings:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset All Settings

If the problem still doesn’t clear, the next step is to reset the iPad to factory settings - after which you will need to restore your data from a backup:

Since the update I have uninstalled and reinstalled gmail. I have reset all settings on the iPad and on gmail. It still freezes when I open a link in a message. I cannot close the link, or go back to gmail. We definitely need a fix for this ASAP.

I had to remove old mcafee app to get phone working. Old desktop however now has issues with mail. I now use a get around as the help line wanted me to backup and reset everything. I decided not and they did not ring back as they said they would. They kept telling me it’s an old desktop. Yes I know but you’re expensive. I now do a work around in google. Thinking, now’s the time to ditch apple.

I updated to the new update and I can’t connect to mobile Internet or wifi properly. I can’t use apps that require connectivity. Can someone fix this! It’s frustrating!

I did not have problems prior to the update. It’s the update! Why is this happening.

My iPhone is doing same exact thing. I have gone through all supports troubleshooting and nothing worked this 17.3 update destroyed my phone I cannot make any calls or texts

I am not able to text from my iPhone to any Samsung user since this update happened.

My texts are not being sent even though I can see them from my text chain. Texts that are sent to me are all jumbled up. They are not in the proper order of when they were sent.

Ever since this update, I’ve had to shutdown my phone several times, due to apps freezing. Everything was fine before update. They need to fix this now 🤬

My connectivity to cellular data, WhatsApp, and wireless apple carplay have been messed up while connected to vpn ever since upgrading to 17.3.1. Anyone else having these issues?

My iPhone cannot connect to google maps or Waze on 4g network since update to 17.3.1. This renders both apps unworkable for directions
