Iogear CAC reader

Does anyone know how to get the iogear CAC reader to work on iPad 15 Pro? It claims the software automatically downloads, but I can not get on any CAC enabled websites I need to.

iPad Pro, iPadOS 17

Are you certain that your iogear CAC Reader is compatible with iPadOS? Many readers require appropriate driver software - which for iOS/iPadOS can only be installed using a device-manufacturer supplied App.

However, there is at least one CAC Reader solution for iPad:
