Carrying it in your pocket with the screen against your skin you “butt entered” random password attempts, until you exceeded the (rather small) limit of failed attempts, which disabled your phone for security reasons. You will have to restore your phone using a computer following the instructions below.

After restoring the phone using one of the methods above you can restore your most recent backup.

To reduce the chance of this happening again put the phone in your pocket with the BACK against your body so skin contact doesn’t activate it. This may seem counterintuitive, but it is more important to protect the back than the front; a screen can be easily and quickly replaced, but if the back glass breaks it is a major repair to fix it, and in some models the whole phone needs to be replaced.
