messed up computer.
My computer is showing colorful lines on the side and black and grey at the Bottom im on it now but it keeps glitching is there a reason for it?

First thing I'd suggest is to try booting into Safe Mode and see if the problem remains: Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support
I'd also ask that you provide some additional details about your specific Mac. You could take a screenshot of the About This Mac window (available via the Apple menu). Please black out the serial number, though...that's not needed.
