YouTube lagging after recent macOS Monterey update on my MacBook.

I updated my MacBook Air to Monterey a few days ago. Before that, YouTube worked perfectly fine but now I'm unable to watch videos without lag. I don't have any add blocker.

The report indicates that you have malware installed:

Malware:

Launchd: ~/Library/LaunchAgents/macsearch.plist

Executable: ~/Library/Application Support/ZEnair/PLusranfresh DistributerName=mctarrev ChannelId=280 DeviceId=4EB76837-2186-5B18-A7C2-A88AE02CC74C Country=CL BarcodeId=54319280 Date=2019-01-18

Reason: Malware name match

These are also suspicious:

Unsigned Files:

Launchd: ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.utilityData.plist

Executable: ~/Library/utilityData/utilityData.app/Contents/MacOS/utilityData

Launchd: ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.SystemExtr.plist

Executable: ~/Library/SystemExtr/SystemExtr.app/Contents/MacOS/SystemExtr

You can try deleting that manually.

Start your mac in Safe Mode

In Finder, press Command-Shift-G and paste

~/Library/LaunchAgents/macsearch.plist

drag it to the trash

In Finder, press Command-Shift-G and paste

~/Library/Application Support/

Drag the whole Zenair folder to the trash

Similarly, get rid of the "UtilityData" bits and "SystemExt" bits.

Restart

Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?

In addition to the above, also note that your battery is in need of replacement. A bad battery can also affect your mac, even if you are running it connected to power.

But first of all get rid of that malware.

Note: malware like this gets installed by tricking you, the user, into installing as part of something that you believed was legit. Do not make matters worse by adding useless "antivirus" or "cleaners" that would never have prevented this in the first place and are themselves a serious issue.
