My MacBook started to get hot even with no apps running. If there is 1 window open, let say Chrome with 1-3 tabs, CPU gets to 75C or more. Fans are running pretty loud. Any idea what is happening?
In activity monitor there is nothing wrong. Idle over 80%. Non CPU consuming apps.
Uninstall Google Chrome and determine if the problems persist.
It is not sufficient to merely not use Chrome. Google must be uninstalled according to its instructions.

I used Chrome for lat 7 years on both my MacBooks and it is difficult to switch to Safari. I won't give up easily :)

Hello, thank you for your answer. I uninstalled Chrome and the problem is still here.
I restarted the laptop and it got to 75 Celsius immediately.
At the moment there is only Safari open with one tab and CPU is 70-75C. Load is 19%.
I used to work with 4-5 apps running and Chrome open with plenty of tabs and never get this problem before.
Then get used to having to replace your Mac every few years, as Google continues to impose ever-increasing demands on it. After all, it's their Mac.
I didn't thought about it that way. Working on Safari at the moment and trying to get use it.
