Unknown/Not-mine image on iOS lock-screen

I opened the music app and deleted that album from the library, that seems to have solved it for now.

Actually, the "two shirtless men hugging" image seems to be the album cover art of band U2 "Songs of Innocense" album. This album is included for free with Apple's Music App on the iPhone.

The Music App shows album art on the iPhone lock screen, when the app is in use and playing music. It seems there is a bug somewhere, which makes this "disturbing to some" album art image show on the lock screen of the iPhone sometimes even if the Music app is not in use.

Same thing happened to my moms right now with the image of two men hugging seductively but thankfully not naked. Ugh

but same issue didn’t show when I tried her saved screens and went right back to the picture even though I selected something else.

also resolved when we rebooted.

My mom had the exact same image on her Lock Screen and she had no idea how it got there. There seems to be a clear security leak and we are concerned.

We re-booted the phone and it’s not there anymore, but I am concerned.

Exactly same thing happened to my phone on 16th June 2024 evening onwards, after reboot it was gone, thankfully, but my home screens were gone!!!!

I was able to change it back to normal. However, I‘m very concerned.

What was this?!

It seems that my iPad down loaded a U2 album and the image is the album cover. I think U2 sometimes release new music to iTunes for free.

I had the same thing happen except it was a picture of Lenny Kravitz. What the heck, Apple? The reboot worked to restore MY lock screen photo but this is just plain alarming.
