Unable to select the Wi-Fi option in the settings since it's grayed out on my iPad

In settings the WiFi button is gray and doesn’t allow me to select it.

Start here:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support

You may need to reset your Network settings:

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
