AirPods are blinking orange and not connecting
I have AirPods gen-2, I replaced the charging case with the new c-type case. I charged it whole night and the case was still blinking orange. I was unable to connect them.

If the case continues blinking orange, instead of going into discovery mode (flashing white) when you try the above replacement-case-set-up, you may need to reset the AirPods :
