How do I remove previous owner's Apple ID from an Apple Watch?

I bought a watch from market place today..!

The watch iCloud is locked and asking for old owner’s credentials to unlock

I tried calling/texting the person from who i bought this watch.

He is not replying!!

This watch i bought from him is a series 5 44mm.

I mean why I specifically mentioned this is because I wished to buy this watch from very long time.

And now after saving money and trusting a person to be genuine..I felt very bad.

I am helpless in this situation RN

@Apple is there any way I can use this watch? Or can I get any sort of money if i hand it over to apple store?

Bottom line, the watch is useless to you with the Activation Lock with the original owner's Apple ID. The Lock is to prevent lost or stolen watches from being used by others. Apple won't help you override the Activation Lock.

You should try to get your money back or write it up as a lesson learned.

This would have needed to be done for you to be able to use the watch;
