How do I get proof of purchase for an iPad bought from an Apple Store in 2022. Need proof for insurance purposes. Original device was replaced as was faulty, so assume I also need proof of replacement? Help! Thanks in advance

If purchased directly from Apple, you might find an electronic copy of your purchase invoice associated with your AppleID account.
Open the Apple Store App on your iPad. If not already installed on your iPad, download the App from the App Store:

If signed-in with your AppleID, at top-right of the App window you will see your initials (e.g., "AB").
Tap your initials; this will open your Account page. Next, select Orders from the list of options; if any past orders/purchases are available, you will find the order and associated invoice here.
Your proof of purchase will be your purchase invoice upon which will be recorded the serial number of your device. You will, of course, have taken care to safely preserve your invoice in case it should be needed.
Likewise, if your iPad has been replaced under warranty, you will have documentation that supports the replacement - detailing the both the original and replacement device serial numbers.
If you have lost or otherwise misplaced your documents, it is unlikely that you will be able to obtain replacements.
