Unable to find English Subtitles for movies on Apple TV

I just purchased the Transformers 5 movie bundle, only the 3rd movie has English subtitle, the other 4 movies don’t have it but have multiple other languages subs. I’m in Singapore. Also Black Hawk Down and 3 out of 5 of the Twilight 5 movies bundle don’t have English subs too. Am I missing something here? Most Singaporeans can read in English. Please advise.

The Movie's audio, and subtitles are defined by the rights holders a.k.a the studios or distributors, Apple has nothing to do with it.

In most cases there should be at least a Closed Captions option for English, but it may not be available in your case.


You aren't missing anything. Studios or distributors may simply choose to not include English subtitles for releases in your country.
