Messenger microphone not working from my side

I’ve check settings I’ve given permission to facebook/messenger to use my mic and yet it’s not working. I’ve reloaded the app and still nothing. I woke up one day and I wasn’t able to call anyone without them hearing me. Please someone help me!!
