CarPlay sound Quality issues

I saw that Apple disable their EQ when using an iPhone with CarPlay. I see no reason for this and it sounds ridiculous. There is a noticeable drop in audio quality using CarPlay unless you get an aftermarket CarPlay model with the EQ built in it. Apple should keep it’s EQ active with CarPlay.

Is there an equalizer app to use on the iPhone without incorporating another Music playing application?

Can't adjust audio volume when using CarPlay I just got a 2022 Toyota RAV4 and was super-excited for Apple CarPlay. When connected to my iPhone 13 Mini, I can't adjust the volume of any app that's open. I am able to adjust volume when connected via BT. My wife's iPhone 13 Pro Max works fine when connect and using CarPlay. Any thoughts?
