Issues with iOS 17.3.1 - iPhone

Since updating to iOS 17.3.1 on my iPhone anytime I get the request for my apple password ID.

it initially accepts the ID, but then loops on it’s self and keeps re-asking me.

resulting in me not being able to download new apps, make purchases etc.

is there a fix for this?

Generating an App specific password When I try to generate an App specific password on my iPhone 13 or my iPad, I get a message saying “Continue on one of your devices. On an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch go to settings > Apple ID.” It doesn’t say what I need to do after that and everything I have tried takes me back to the same message eventually….. There dont seem to be any App Specific passwords at the moments so it isn’t because I have used all 25. what do I need to do? thanks
