Updating iOS Version of an iPhone 5S

I am currently not able to update an iPhone 5S to iOS 12 wirelessly as it requires me connect to a computer and use iTunes. My problem is I am no longer able to install iTunes on the only computer that I currently have as it is already updated to MacOS Sonoma. Does anybody have a workaround? Help! : )

Why might Itunes for WIndows not recognize that my iPhone has been updated to the latest iOS? I recently backed up my iPhone in iTunes for Windows. I updated my iPhone over wifi via the phone itself. I am wondering if you may be able to tell me why my version of Itunes that I have did not recognize the update. The itunes version is12.12.10.1 in Windows Home 22H2 that I use with my iPhone that has iOS 17.4.1. I know that I did not update the phone with iTunes, but I think that previously, it would recognize that the phone had been updated. It currently keeps asking me to update to the same iOS that I have on my phone. How do I resolve this issue without uninstalling iTunes?

Updating an iPhone SE without iTunes? Hi! I'm sitting with my grandma's iPhone SE that needs updating, but the problem is that it requires iTunes to install the update on the phone, and my MacBook is too new to even download iTunes. Does anyone know of another way to update the iPhone without iTunes? Thanks a lot 🖤

Wait! Oh my god! I think I've got it!

I didn't have to use iTunes anymore. I just had to connect the phone to the Macbook and make the phone and the computer trust each other. After that, the computer recognizes the device as an iPhone 5S and provides option to update. This is awesome! Thank god!
