any way to not click on a window to activate it when using a 2nd monitor?

so i have a Macbook and it's connected to a monitor.

say i'm currently working on an app that's showing on main display,

when i want to work on another window on 2nd display, i'll have to move

my pointer over to that app and click on it first to activate the window

before i can place any command.

is there a way, like Windows computers, when you move your mouse

between windows/apps on different monitors you can just start giving

command instead of having to click on it first?

thank you.

You're welcome.

Command-Tab is the fastest way to move from app to app regardless of their desktop location.

Command-Grave accent (`) will move focus from window to window in the same app on the same desktop.

You might explore the details of using System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts... > Mission Control to quickly move between desktops on multiple monitors.
