Close all Iphone/IOS 17 Safari tabs on exit?

In settings I see "After a day", "After a week", and "After a month" options. I don't see "On Exit". Surely Apple didn't fail to add a ridiculously simple feature that a million people have googled to find and every other browser in the world supports.

Browsers on the iPhone never exit, which is probably why there is no "On Exit” option.

Unacceptably restricting an option because some people can't operate the phone/software properly is not the proper path.

There's no danger here. It's not like when Microsoft let you format the system drive in Win 95 without a "Are you sure" prompt.

There is certainly "danger" to people who care a lot about their tabs. I don't happen to be one of them but I also recognize that no everyone uses their devices in the same way as I do, that their needs and wants may be different than mine.
