Safari Autoclosing Tabs (it's already switch to manual closing)

When my iPhone 12 gives a warning that storage is full, all my safari tabs automatically close. I have my closing tabs on manual and this wasn't a problem when I was on an older iOS (the one where I couldn't customize the lock screen with the time/adding weather or widgets to the lock screen). Is there a way to prevent it from automatically closing these tabs?

Your phone needs a certain amount of memory (RAM) as well as storage space to run properly. If it needs extra of either, it'll attempt to create free space by eliminating unnecessary processes. Web browser tabs are considered transient and aren't necessarily for long-term storage or saving of webpages- for that, try bookmarks or Reading List.
