Apple Music outage

Even after the latest iOS update, the Apple Music app will be discontinued, and songs will not be able to be added to the Family Sharing playlist. I tried to re-run after shutting down the device, but to no avail. Wi-Fi, checking the storage space was also useless. I can‘t listen to music I don’t think it‘s my device problem.

I have an iPhone 11 with latest version of iOS and have been having a re-occuring problem playing downloaded apple music offline without cell or wifi connection. I fly frequently and this has become quite annoying as the music will not play. I've done the recommendations from other discussions - Disabled Dolby Atmos, Disabled Lossless Audio, disabled sync library (although I was required to enable this again in order to download songs). Downloaded music will play for a period if a internet connection is established and a downloaded song is started. This is a workaround for short periods of being offline but for longer periods the downloaded music eventually stops playing. We have a apple music subscription with family share plan with 6 devices, the issue has also occurred on other devices. apple music subscription freezes after the 17.1.1. update what gives? My iPad recently was updated for 17.1.1. After the update, I can NOT get my paid Apple Music subscription to download, create playlists, unable to edit the lists, play the music…I am constantly having to restart my iPad over and over, and sometimes I get 1 song to play and then it freezes and doesn’t work. I have shut down my VPN to not interfere, I did a hard restart of the iPad, and today an apple chat helper had me go into my settings and tap on media and purchases, to sign out, and then resign in with my Apple ID. That helped me access Apple Music for about 2 minutes and then it froze again. At this point I am not sure what I am paying for because it is not for access to Apple Music. (Just access to frustration)

Apple Music stops playing when I open another app on iPhone Hi All, Recently my apple music stops playing when I open another app. Let it be any app; games, new app, any app I open, the music stops. If it were a systematic problem, the forums would be overwhelmed with posts about the issue. It is not.

Have you tried a different WiFi network?
