Attach photo from Google Photo not iPhone photo to text message

My iPhone 14 is looking at my iPhone photos and not google photos through Messages. When I want to attach a picture from Google photos to a text message it's not available. It will only allow me to attach a photo from my iPhone photos. I can see the photo in my Google photos on my Mac and in my iPhone Google photos, but not in my iPhone photos. Problems is messages is only looking at iPhone photos not Google photos.
