iPhone- ringing loud for first 2 rings, then rings get lower in volume (barely audible)

iPhone- ringing loud (standard Apple phone ringing sound) for first 2 rings, then automatically rings get lower in volume (barely audible). I want it to ring loudly constantly, like it did in the past. One of the more recent updates changed this for me.
