Need a bit more information to assist you. What model of MacBook are you running 10.7 on?

You can find that information by going to the 'Apple Menu' (upper left) click and hold down the Apple and then click on 'About This Mac'

If the OP's machine is a MacBook Pro, and it is so old that it can run Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), then it can't run macOS 13 (Ventura). The final group of MacBook Pros that could run Lion were the Mid 2012 ones. You can only upgrade them as far as macOS 10.15.7 (Catalina).

Depending on the particular MBP the OP has, the end of the line could be earlier than that.
