Why is my Mac not upgrading to macOS 13.0?

when you get that message, it usually means that you are already running the most recent macOS that the Mac Is compatible with.

which model and year Mac are we discussing here? with that info we can determine wether or not you can run Ventura.

Currently running Mac OS 12.7.6 and need os 13.0 to run TurboTax

I have a MacBook Pro mid 2015 for which I made my annual TurboTax purchase. I was unaware that my Mac was not able to upgrade beyond macOS Monterey 12.7.6 and the download requires macOS 13.0 or higher. So I signed in as the email instructions said and the info is now in my downloads on the computer that won't download for use. The license code on the email is of no use because it has already been associated with an account. So guess I'm in software **** with no access to find out how to get my money back and can't complete the return due on April 15th. Any help would be appreciated.

Ventura 13 requires a 2017 or later iMac.

You need a 2018 or later MacBook Air to run Ventura 13 or later.

Apparently you don't have that. If you did, Software Update would not say you are up to date.

Your issue needs to be taken up with Intuit - its their software, which you purchased from them.

For you and the OP both, you can still use TurboTax online.

Apparently you are not getting the posts in order. Click on your icon at the top right of the page, click on edit your preferences and choose "oldest" for Sort near the bottom.
